Overview

"DatoScoop is a powerful data aquisition system engineered specifically for industrial use, enabling efficient data collection and logging. With its range of communication interfaces and small form factor, it offers easy integration with a variety of industrial sensors and devices."

General Architecture

The DatoScoop is a robust solution tailored for industrial applications, designed to facilitate seamless data acquisition and logging. Its multiple communication ports ensure effortless connectivity with various industrial devices and sensors. With versatile data logging options, DatoScoop guarantees continuous and thorough data capture, directly storing incoming data from each port into log files for uninterrupted logging. The interactive Graphical User Interface of DatoScoop enhances flexibility in data capture, making it easier to configure and manage data processing. This handheld device is designed to record data from a Unit Under Test or Device Under Test that operates using a data dumping and command-response protocol, converting and saving the data in a human-readable format. All protocol parameters are user-programmable and field-customizable.

Handheld Data Acquisition: Precision with Portability

The transition of Datoscoop into a handheld device brings significant advantages in terms of portability and convenience. This is particularly beneficial for on-site data collection, where larger, stationary equipment would be impractical or cumbersome. The small form factor also allows it to be used in tight or restricted spaces, providing flexibility and accessibility for various applications. Despite its reduced size, Datoscoop doesn't compromise on performance. It retains all the advanced capabilities of its larger counterparts, delivering precise, real-time data acquisition and analysis. This makes it a powerful tool for engineers and technicians who require both mobility and high functionality in their testing workflows. Whether for routine diagnostics or specialized sensor testing, the handheld design enhances efficiency by enabling faster setup, easier maneuverability, and increased versatility in different operational environments.
